"What is the jar full of?" I ask, holding up a jar full of something light grey, examining it in my hand. I stare at Emily then back at the jar, spinning it in my big hands.

Emily looks up from her box that she is unpacking, "Oh...um...those are the ashes of Kyle's dead cat, Simon. He left it with me, so I thought I would bring it," She points to the box that I am unpacking for her, "The box there that you are unpacking is all Kyle's shit. You can take it next door if you would like." I look back down at the ashes in the jar, noticing that some are turning red, and I quickly throw it back in the box. If I pick up this box now, it will surely explode into flames.

I bite my lip, running a hand through my crazy mass of hair, "Uh, I'll take it over later if you don't mind." Emily shrugs.

"Okay, that's fine. Want to help me set up the television?" She asks, holding up the cable box. I give her a small smile, nodding.

"Sure thing," I jog slowly towards her black flat screen television sitting in the corner of the room by the sliding glass doors, "You grab one end and I'll grab another." I mention as she walks over. Emily picks up the other end, and we carry it the the huge mantel, where we set the tv. Emily grunts and wipes her hands off on her light, sky blue shirt.

"Thank you, Dan. I don't really need much help anymore. I think I can handle the rest." I nod and make my way to the door, grabbing the box full of Kyle's things that he had left behind. As I exit Emily's room, I see Kyle walk out of our room, a smile on his face...like usual.

"Oh, hello there, sir. Isn't the weather lovely today?" Kyle asks me, jokingly. We both start cracking up.

"You are so weird, I can't help but wonder about you at times, Kyle Simmons. Here." I hand him his box. Kyle drops the box, causing a huge shatter to echo in the hall.

"GOD DAMN IT, DANIEL! YOUR HANDS ARE HOT AS HELL!" I throw him a shrug.

"Well duh. Can't help this, baby." I throw him a playful wink, creating a small flame in my right hand. The flame grows and forms into a fiery rose, "For you." I laugh, as I shove it in Kyle's face. He shrieks as the fire touches his favorite cat shirt, singeing the edge of the sleeve.

"You douche pants!" He shouts. I roll back my head in laughter.

"What is going on out here?!" Emily comes out of her room, shouting, and scowlding the two of us. Good thing the rose made of fire had faded before she had seen. I would have died inside and grown numb if she ever found out about me.  Kyle shakes his head.

"Erm, n-nothing. Thanks for bringing my things over, sis." Emily nods and walks back into the room. Kyle looks at me, worried.

"That was close..." I sigh. Kyle chuckles.

"You don't say! But hey, I noticed that you are getting along with her, good for you. Let's go, I need you to drive me to the shelter or I am going to be late." Oh. I forgot to mention. Kyle works at an animal shelter....and he is the manager. Go figure.

"Sure. I'll meet you downstairs." Kyle walks into our room. Once he closes the door, I look back at Emily's door. In that moment....that short amount of time I was with her, I could feel this unexplained flame in my heart that was dieing to come out...

I've never felt this feeling...and to be honest, I am sort of scared to figure out what it is.

I shake it off and walk down the stairs and out of the apartment complex to my light grey, crappy ass car sitting in the parking lot...rusting. As I keep walking, searching for my keys, I accidentally bumping into someone, and being me, of course I am the one that falls.

"Are you alright?" A British accent asks from above me. I nod, as I get up off the ground, my body is exploding with fire inside, waiting to be released.

"I'm sor-" I stop mid sentence as I meet eyes with the young teen standing above me. She looks about sixteen, maybe seventeen. She has jet black hair and bright blue eyes. I watch her face fill with fear as she studies mine.

"Oh my god..." She whispers. I watch her start running.

"WAIT!" I shout after her, chasing her. I know that girl from somewhere. Deep in my mind, I know her...I-I just can't recall who she is right at the moment.

I follow her into a forest, with thick trees. Very thick trees. Not able to contain it any longer, the fire that is me ignites. Every tree I touch starts to burn. The dry leaves underneath me light up from my feet.

The young girl runs into a woman's arms, hugging her tightly. I stop in my tracks as I see the bright light escaping her. This can't be. Not now.

"You have done us wrong, Daniel!" The women yells, the trees around us lightling on fire.

Fiona.

And she has Sarah.
