"WHAT?!" I shout, "You've got this all wro-"

"I'm afraid I ain't wrong, Mr. Smith..." Cameron interrupts me, taking a puff of his cigarette, "Knock him out, boys." Cameron says, standing up and walking out of the room.

"Wait, what-" Next thing you know, I am hit in the head with a bat, and everything goes black.

The snow falls silently around me, some burning as they reach the tip of my lit cigarette. My red converse all-stars crunch in the snow, but the snow bites back as water seeps through the light material of my sneakers. The plan. I still don't understand this. After I got out of the hospital four months ago, I was still depressed. I went to get tattoos everyday, not communicating with the lad or Tod at all. I started smoking and snorting cocaine. Then, to top it all off, I somehow got my band mates, cousin, step-siblings, and the love of my life involved. No one knew who my dealer was...until now.

It's Cameron.

I would have never guessed. But damn. I got Darcy involved. I need to pay Cam back and retrieve Darcy for him and who knows why. But I am not going to let him have her. I get to the snow covered highway, still going at the cigarette. Extending my arm, I hold out a thumbs up, waiting for someone to stop and pick me up. Oh. I forgot to mention something.

Somehow I am in Seattle, Washington.

Damn, I can remember everything except for the important details. A huge green pick-up truck pulls over, the passenger window rolling down, "Daniel?" The man asks from inside. My bottom jaw falls, causing my cigarette to fall out of my agape mouth and onto the snow. I stumble back as I see who it is in the truck.

"But...But you're dead!" I stammer. The man chuckles, biting at the tip of a pipe, nodding as he looks straight forward.

"Yes, my boy. That is true. You may be hallucinating, Dan. Open your eyes."

"But Patrick!" He shakes his head.

"I must be on my way. But let me tell ya a little secret," He leans towards the passenger window, now smoking the pipe, "Darcy will remember you. But you must do your best to protect her from Cam and his men. The reason is-" But before he can finish, Patrick is flung forward, through the car windshield, a bottle of liquor from the passenger seat flies through with him. I am taken aback as I see a small grey car has driven into the side of his truck. I walk over, screaming, falling back into the snow as I see my head bashed on the steering wheel.

I turn around to see the Patrick and his truck are gone. I turn back towards me in my car, only to find that it's gone too. What was he going to say!? Suddenly, I hear a honk from in front of me as a huge black truck swerves towards me.

I dive out of the way, hitting the highway ramp. Looking at the falling snow, I wonder to myself why is this all happening to me and if any of this is real. But then I get my answer.

"Dan?"
