Four

"RILEY!" Kyle shouts, running after me. My eyes widen in confusion as he knocks me to the dirt, embracing me in a tight hug. They hardly even know me! Why is Kyle already acting to nicely around me?

"Hey, Kyle." My greeting is muffled as his shoulder covers my mouth.

"Kyle. Get off of the poor girl, will you." I hear Will mutter as he peels Kyle off of me. Woody helps me up and Dan brushes me off. That's when I lose it.

"Why the hell are my idols suddenly around me, acting like we have known each other for years?! I have fucking Daniel Smith brushing me off, Kyle Simmons jumping on me and hugging me, Chris Wood helping me up, and William Farquarson pulling Kyle off of me! Is this some kind of sick joke?!" All four of them exchange glances.

"Excuse me?" Will asks, clearly confused. I shake my head.

"I'm dreaming. I know it. I might as well walk home and call Kit." I starts walking away, quickly, but I am stopped as someone grabs my wrist. I turn around only to have Dan's face in mine.

"I think she hit her head pretty hard when she fell at that concert."

"Excuse me?" I wanted to pull my wrist out of his grip, but yet I didn't because I mean, come on, it's God damn Dan Smith for crying out loud.

"You were unconscious for a good two solid weeks and we got to know you pretty well through your brother and his boyfriend." Kyle answers calmly.

"And also the fans. Basically the whole stormer fandom is creating their own fandom for you now." Woody chimes in.

I am taken aback by all of this sudden news. Shaking my head, I pull away from Dan, walking back down the street, "Dan, can we just get to the car please."

"It's right here." He yells from back behind me. Walking back, I can tell he is pissed off as he crosses his arms. I reach him, leaning up on my toes, and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Sorry for acting bitchy." He hugs me back, his grasp is tight and warm. I feel him rest his cheek on my head, a big smile grows on my face.

"So, Kit said that he isn't home. Do you have a key?" He pulls up to my house, putting the rental car in park. Digging through my pockets, I sigh. Shaking my head, he nods his, "Okay. That's what I thought. Want to get something to eat?"

"Sure. There's a Nando's three blocks away."

"What's Nando's?"

I giggle, "It's a chicken place. They also serve other things, but it's known for its signature chicken."

"SAY NO MORE!" He shouts, a huge smile plastered on his face, "CHICKEN IS CHICKEN! LET'S BOOK IT!" He backs the car up and speeds down the street.

"I would like the Wing Roulette and the gentleman would like the special; Peri-Peri Chicken." After I take our orders, I find Dan sitting in the back.

"What's with you sitting all lonesome in the back?" I ask as I take the seat across from him. He looks up, taking his head off of his hand.

Dan shrugs, "I don't want a lot of attention on me or you at the moment."

I laugh, "Why do you care so much for me? You hardly even know me!"

"Riley Snow! Your order is ready!" A worker at the front yells.

Dan shakes his head, smirking, as he gets up for the food.

"What?" I ask, getting up, and following him. God damn. Daniel is too stubborn. A lot more stubborn than I ever thought. Ir is it just me? Dan takes the food and walks out, me trailing behind.

"I'm taking you home, Riley." He gets in the car, unlocking my door. I really, really need to clear up my attitude, I have no clue why I am acting like such a bitch, but I need to stop.

"Dan?"

He turns the car back off and stares at me, "What." He says after a long silence.

"Please show me the ropes. My attitude has really changed since I noticed what has happened to my life, I mean, I have got everything I want! ANY other stormer would be more thang happy to take my place."

Dan finally flashes a happy smile, not a pissed off or annoyed one. He nods, "Sure, Riley."
