Dan's *POV*

I waited in front of my flat for hours, but Darcy still hasn't shown up. An hour ago is when I started getting worried. I started worrying that she might have been sent to the hospital because of her Leukemia, but if that happened, she probably would have called.

I don't really have a huge attention span, so currently, I am afraid I have gone completely mad. A few minutes ago I called Will to have him come over saying that if Darcy doesn't show up in at least another hour, then to take me to his place.

Will pulls up, and gets out of the car. I roll my eyes when I see him with his stupid smug smirk and his black shades. I don't know what the bloody hell is up with him.

"Hey, Smith." He says, walking up, and sitting on the porch.

"Hey, Farquarson." I say back, sitting next to him.

"So what do you think is taking her so long...you don't think-" I stiffen up at where he is going. My eyes grow wide, and my throat closes up.

"Don't..." I whisper. I can feel the hot, steamy tears building up in my eyes. I am not ready for this...I am not prepared. Just...no.

Darcy's *POV*

I have been stuck at my friend, Hazel's, place for ages. This is getting on my nerves. She isn't letting me leave because she is still torn up about her stupid boyfriend that died of cancer. Now that the two of us both have different types of cancer, she is breaking down because she doesn't want to lose anyone else.

"Hazel! Stop! I was supposed to met Dan two hours ago!" I try to kick her off my ankle, but her tube is roped around it. I let out a heaving sigh as she lays there, gripping on my ankle, bawling her eyes out.

From across the room, I could hear Alchemy playing. It's Dan calling...for at least the fifth time. Alchemy is a song that he sings to me to either cheer me up, or just to hear me laugh because when ever he sings it, he always wears this weird Dracula cloak.

"Hazel..." I say through clenched teeth, but she is weeping too loud to hear me. My phone beeps three times, signalizing that I had missed a call. God damn it, "HAZEL!" Finally, I catch her attention, my screaming throws her off of me. Right as she gets to her feet, I feel a warm liquid flowing onto my lips and down me chin.

Suddenly, I start getting light headed, and everything turns black.

My phone starts to vibrate in my hand. I look down at the screen to see that Darcy is calling me. Finally. I press the answer button and bring it to my ear.

"Hello?" I ask into the phone. A person answers that is hysterical and saying her name is Hazel.

"GET TO THE HOSPITAL...NOW!" Then the line hangs up. Suddenly, I stop breathing, and everything around me slows.

"Dan?" I hear Will ask, "What's wrong? Is everything alright?" I don't answer him. I pull out my car keys from my jean pocket and run to my car, slightly stumbeling on the way. My head is being cluttered with thoughts as I hurridly get into the car.

I slam the key into the ignition, start the car, and drive off to the hospital. I turn on the radio just to turn it off again. The song that came on was Let Her Go by Passanger. I can't listen  to that song at this moment. Darcy loves the song, but it is way to sad for now.

Hot tears start to blurr up my vision as I drive. Next thing I know I am hyperventalating as the worst fills my mind. Not seeing that there is a red light through the tears, I speed in front of a green toyota. The front of the truck hit me so hard, it first bends my car over, then it smashes through my car. The glass from the windows and windshields fly all over the car, some pieces stricking me, and sinking into my skin. My seat belt has ripped causing my the fly forward and hit my forehead hard on the stearing wheel.
